Republic Commercial Properties has extensive experience in the management and
leasing of all property types, including downtown high rise office, suburban-garden
office, industrial, service centers, retail centers, mobile home parks and RV parks.
Doug Hodge, CCIM has experience of over 20 years in marketing and managing
commercial real estate. Mr. Hodge has managed the construction of a number
of commercial remodels and a large number of tenant finish-out projects

Republic Commercial Properties maintain s a staff of including property managers,
maintenance and accounting personnel to provide quick and optimal service. Accounting
is maintained on Yardi.

OWNER RÉSUMÉ Doug Hodge is owner and founder of Republic Commercial Properties. Mr. Hodge began his career in real estate in 1985 in Austin Texas. Between the years 1991 and 1995, he listed over six hundred properties on behalf of the FDIC and RTC and managed a number of sealed bid sales, including the largest sale conducted by the FDIC in Texas. He managed the final property sale for the RTC, covering assets in seven states. In 1994 he began investing and managing a variety of commercial properties in Austin and Dallas-Ft. Worth. Mr. Hodge holds the CCIM designation and has served as President of; Central Texas CCIM chapter, Commercial Leasing Broker’s Association, and the Commercial Investment Division of the Austin Board of Realtors. He was awarded Commercial-Investment Member of the Year by the Austin Board. Mr. Hodge also served as board member of; the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Lake Austin Advisory Committee (LCRA), and the Austin Commercial Real Estate Society. He is a graduate of Leadership Austin, and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Texas MBA program. He has been involved in numerous other professional and service organizations. Mr. Hodge is a native of Holliday, Texas and a graduate of Texas Tech University. After graduation Mr. Hodge served as a Captain and Pilot for the United States Marine Corps. Upon completion of his military service, Mr. Hodge joined diagnostic division of Abbott Laboratories, a Fortune 150 company. He became the top salesman and was promoted to Marketing Manager at the headquarters in Chicago. He was responsible for introducing the first licensed Aids test available in the world and negotiated multi-million dollar contracts with Abbott's largest clients, including the American Red Cross.
